We are a social enterprise that seeks to address community- based challenges brought about due to marginalization of women and children. Our focus is on empowerment and enhancing capacities of women in different spheres in order to facilitate their contribution in building resilient communities that are sustainable. We achieve this through the implementation of human rights-based initiatives that are built on economic empowerment, human rights awareness, the elimination of gender -based violence and fruitful partnerships and collaboration with grass root and community-based groups that work with these target group. We envision a world where empowered women and communities can work together to address gender inequalities and sustainable livelihoods of women in order to establish their place in an evolving global village.We conduct a needs assessment of the community issues and design programs that address sustainability and impact to households and livelihoods Specifically, we focus on use of capacity building to build resilient communities, technology transfer through linkages with Academia to gain insight into how to commercialise high impact innovative solutions to common problems.
Most of our activities centre around training and tooling, developing groups towards entrepreneurship, business acumen, vocational training and relevant skills acquisition to meet immediate challenges. Further we explore agricultural potential of communities and seek workable demand driven initiatives that empower the community members economically. To some extent, we conduct thorough assessment for financial grants and Micro Financing model that is revolving and guaranteed amongst self help groups.
As part of finding solutions to the youth problems, we explore technical hospitality skills and training for customer service, chefs, waiters and waitresses and link up successful participants with partner hospitality outlets. Ultimately, we create impact and design robust Monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure sustainability and scale up in future programs.
Our Human Rights Awareness and Sensitization Initiatives
- Capacity building and sensitization trainings on human rights including women’s rights, refugee rights and children’s rights.
- Advocating for realization of socio – economic rights of refugees and victims of internal displacement.
- Addressing issues of gender- based violence, access to justice mechanisms and exploring conflict resolution strategies.
- Promoting women’s participation in decision making, policy making and implementation processes.
Why Bicycles
Bicycles have a place in most African rural settings due to their versatility, affordability and maintenance potential besides contributing less carbon foot print to the environment.
Bicycles can be used by children from age 12 Years to adults with a better safety record as compared to motorized transport modes Besides Bicycles do not require regular fueling and riders with no licensing requirement.

Our Philosophy
Cyclegraph NFP was created as a company Limited by shares but with sole goal of enabling our women groups to purchase bicycle and agro-industry machinery and products.Our Nairobi offices ensures receipt of machinery through the Mombasa port of East Africa and serves all East Africa Regional offices.
The Nairobi office also serves as assembly plant for the Heavy duty unisex Bicycles utilized in the region. Having our own company enables us to focus on corporate social responsibility and not-for-profit as we do not have to collaborate with companies to provide services outside of our philosophy.
